My first piece of work in ages and damn it felt good! …

Its for a competition found at

. It’s about a large group space pirates that occupy a deserted and dying binary star system. They scavenge among the remains of the system's past inhabitants whom were all but destroyed in a colossal war.

Loving this scene. I can feel motion in it, like it was a screen capture from a film or game. Speaking of which, with the color palate, the horizontal star flare of the distant red giant/dwarf, and the ship/junk structures, one thing comes to mind. EvE. So was it an inspiration or merely awesome delicious coincidence?

Thanks very much! Well I do work in a games shop and have seen EvE a few times so maybe it was that but I would have to put it down to complete coincidence
